Your submission of personal information through the Website is governed by our Privacy Policy, which may be viewed at solvitmoney.com/privacy. Solvit reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy in its reasonable discretion from time-to-time. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
4. Administrative Support Access & Account Management
4.1 Scope of Administrative Authority
Accelerated Strategies, LLC DBA: Solvit employs support representatives ("Admin Users") who may, at your request and with your explicit consent, access your account to provide troubleshooting and Done-for-You services.
This section establishes the scope and limitations of admin authority. Your consent to grant access is controlled separately in Account Settings (see Section 4.5).
4.2 Permitted Administrative Actions (If You Enable Access)
When you authorize admin access via Settings → Security → Admin Access, our support team may perform the following actions within the Solvit platform only:
Debt Payoff Strategy & Scenario Management:
- Create, modify, or delete debt payoff scenarios
- Adjust scenario parameters (payment dates, extra payments, lump sums)
- Analyze payoff projections and interest savings
Budget & Transaction Management:
- Create, rename, or delete budget categories
- Adjust budget amounts and allocations
- Correct transaction categorizations
- Remove duplicate or erroneous transactions
Debt Account Configuration:
- Edit interest rates, payment due dates, and loan terms
- Update account names and balances
- Correct data entry errors
4.3 Prohibited Actions & Security Safeguards
Admin Users are strictly prohibited from the following activities:
❌ No External Banking Access:
- Cannot log into your bank, credit card, or financial institution accounts
- Cannot access, view, or store your online banking credentials
- Cannot see account numbers, routing numbers, or PINs
❌ No Financial Transactions:
- Cannot transfer money, initiate payments, or move funds
- Cannot modify external account balances
- Cannot authorize charges or debits
❌ No Credential Access:
- Cannot see your Solvit account password
- Cannot view authentication codes or security questions
- Cannot export sensitive financial identifiers
IMPORTANT: All admin actions are limited to data stored within Solvit's platform. Admins manipulate only information that has been imported via Plaid or manually entered by you. They have zero access to your actual bank accounts or financial institutions.
4.4 Legal Basis for Admin Access
You agree that when you enable admin access, you are appointing Solvit and its authorized representatives as your limited agent for the sole purpose of account management and support. This agency relationship is governed by:
- Principle of Least Privilege: Access granted only to staff required to resolve specific issues
- Purpose Limitation: Access used only for stated support purposes
- Revocability: You may terminate agency at any time by disabling access
This agency authorization does NOT waive your rights under GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, or other privacy laws. Your separate privacy consent (in Account Settings) is the legal basis for data processing.
4.5 How to Enable/Disable Admin Access (REQUIRED CONSENT)
Admin access is DISABLED by default. To enable it:
- Navigate to Settings → Security → Admin Access
- Read the complete disclosure (includes this section + Privacy Policy §4)
- Choose access duration: 24 hours (default) | 7 days | Custom
- Check the box: "I explicitly consent to temporary admin support access"
- Save → Your consent is logged with timestamp, IP address, and device info
To Disable: Toggle off in Settings → Security → Admin Access. Access terminates immediately (admins cannot log in within 60 seconds).
Consequences of Disabling:
- Support provided via screen-sharing tools (Zoom, Loom)
- Response times may be longer (no direct account access)
- You may re-enable access anytime
4.6 Your Rights & Transparency Obligations
Under CCPA §1798.100, GDPR Article 15, and other privacy laws, you have the right to:
- ✅ View access logs showing who accessed your account, when, and why
- ✅ Request detailed action-by-action breakdown of admin modifications
- ✅ Revoke consent instantly (immediate effect)
- ✅ Export all access logs (Settings → Security → Access History → Download CSV)
- ✅ Dispute any access you believe was unauthorized
Access Transparency: All admin sessions are automatically logged in real-time. You can view:
- Admin name and email address
- Session start/end timestamps
- Actions taken (e.g., "Modified budget category: Groceries")
- Purpose (e.g., "Support Ticket #1234", "DFY onboarding")
- IP address and device information
Retention: Logs retained for 5 years for audit/compliance purposes.
4.7 Indemnification for Administrative Modifications
You acknowledge that admin modifications are performed in good faith for troubleshooting purposes. While we implement safeguards to minimize errors:
- You agree to review your account data after any admin support session
- You have 7 days to report errors or discrepancies
- Failure to report within 7 days constitutes acceptance of modifications
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Accelerated Strategies, LLC DBA: Solvit from any claims arising from admin modifications, including:
- Unintended changes to budget categories, transactions, or debt scenarios
- Discrepancies between Solvit platform data and actual financial account data
- Financial decisions you make based on admin-modified data
Limitation of Liability: Our maximum liability for admin errors is capped at three (3) months of subscription fees or $500, whichever is greater.
No Warranty: All administrative support is provided "as-is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness. You remain responsible for verifying all data.
4.8 Compliance with Financial Regulations
Our administrative access practices comply with:
- GLBA Safeguards Rule: Audit logs, role-based access, employee training
- FTC Guidelines: Purpose limitation, user notification, secure sessions
- GDPR Article 25: Data protection by design and by default
- CCPA/CPRA: Right to Know, Right to Delete, Right to Access Logs
Employee Training: All Admin Users undergo mandatory security and privacy training, sign confidentiality agreements, and are subject to disciplinary action for policy violations.
4.9 Conflict with Privacy Policy
If any provision of this section conflicts with our Privacy Policy (solvitmoney.com/privacy, Section 4), the Privacy Policy governs with respect to data processing. This section establishes scope of authority; the Privacy Policy establishes consent for data access.
Required Reading: Before enabling admin access, you must review both:
- This ToS Section 4 (scope/prohibitions)
- Privacy Policy Section 4 (consent/audit logs)
Failure to read both documents does not excuse you from their terms.
5. Order Placement and Acceptance
If you order a service or product, payment must be received by us before your order is accepted. We may require additional information regarding your order if any required information was missing or inaccurate and may cancel or limit an order any time after it has been placed. Your electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order.
All items are subject to availability. All advertised prices are in, and all payments shall be in, U.S. Dollars unless otherwise specified.
6. Subscription Terms and Automatic Payment
A Solvit user is responsible for paying all sums due in connection with their subscription in accordance with these Terms. The subscription fee is due when the user account is set up and payment is a condition of access, or after any free trial ends and you have not canceled.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: IF YOU HAVE PROVIDED US WITH A VALID CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD NUMBER OR AN ALTERNATE PAYMENT METHOD, EACH PAYMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSED AT THE TIME OF YOUR DESIGNATED PAYMENT DATE AND WILL BE BILLED TO THE PAYMENT METHOD YOU PROVIDED TO US AT THE TIME OF YOUR ENROLLMENT.
PRE-RENEWAL REMINDER: In compliance with California Business and Professions Code §17602 and similar state laws, we will send you an email reminder at least 7 days beforeeach automatic renewal. This reminder will include the renewal date, the amount to be charged, and instructions for how to cancel. You may cancel at any time via User Settings → Billing Settingsbefore the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.
Failure by a user to use any of the services available does not relieve the user of their payment obligations under these Terms. Solvit reserves the right to immediately terminate a user's account for any unpaid period of the subscription.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
ONE-CLICK CANCELLATION: Solvit provides a simple, one-click cancellation option available through your account at User Settings → Billing Settings. You may cancel your subscription at any time without prior notice.
Free Trial Cancellation: If you do not want to continue your subscription after your free trial ends, you may cancel at any time before your free trial period ends using the one-click cancellation feature in your User Settings → Billing Settings.
Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time after a free trial or discounted period ends by using the one-click cancellation feature located in your User Settings → Billing Settings. No advance notice is required.
IMPORTANT: IMMEDIATE LOSS OF ACCESS UPON CANCELLATION
Immediate Termination: Upon cancellation, your access to your Solvit account and all associated Services will be immediately terminated. You will not be able to log in, view your data, or use any features of the platform effective immediately upon cancellation.
No Data Export: You acknowledge and agree that once you cancel your subscription, you will not have the ability to export, download, or retrieve any data from your account. It is your responsibility to export any data you wish to retain prior to cancellation.
BY CANCELING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS REGARDING IMMEDIATE LOSS OF ACCESS AND INABILITY TO EXPORT DATA.
30-Day Data Retention Period: Following cancellation, Solvit will retain your account data for a period of thirty (30) days ("Data Retention Period"). During this 30-day period, you may reactivate your account by contacting support@solvitmoney.com or through the platform if available.
Account Reactivation: If you choose to reactivate your account during the 30-day Data Retention Period, you must make a full subscription payment at the then-current subscription rate. Upon successful payment, your account access will be restored with your previously stored data. Partial payments, prorated amounts, or discounts previously applied will not be honored for reactivation.
Data Deletion After Retention Period: After the 30-day Data Retention Period expires, all of your account data will be permanently purged and destroyed. This includes, but is not limited to, all budget data, transaction history, debt payoff scenarios, account configurations, and any other information associated with your account. Once data is purged, it cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
Refunds: You will not be entitled to prorate your last month's use, nor will you be entitled to any refund for any payments to Solvit except as required by applicable law. Solvit in its sole discretion may charge a cancellation fee equal to the amount any subscription was discounted.
8. Products, Services, and Pricing
